I was not obese…I did not have high blood pressure…no cholesterol problems…no stress…no diabetes…why would I want to work out with a trainer? I have done some form of exercise my entire life…tennis, ballet, skiing, swimming, aerobics, pilates, walking…BUT at 60 years old, I felt like I was physically weak. My stamina was gone. I had no energy to do anything strenuous. My muscle strength was gone. I was told that walking 2 miles every day was healthy, and I had done it for years, but I felt I was really losing ground.

I now work out with Chideha two days a week and go to boxing class once a week. What a difference this has made in my life!! Yes, I have lost a few pounds and my blood pressure has lowered and has my cholesterol. AND I FEEL FABULOUS! My strength and stamina have returned. I look better and feel better than I have in years.

Oh, I forgot…I also have inflammatory arthritis and have had it since I was in my 30’s. I forgot to mention it because I forget I have it! Since working out and gaining strength, I have virtually no pain or symptoms of this disease. As I said, I feel fabulous!
